trail running pals

45 minutes down in the greenbelt, trail running. perfect way to start a morning. afterwards... we were both exhausted. and apparently his head grew twice its normal size?!?!

(or, perhaps, he really is just THAT BIG. who knew?)

you know when dogs do the superman!!?!... stretched out on their belly, legs straight out in front of them AND behind!!? ... and ya know how, basically, if you measure them when they're like that..

you can pretty much find out how tall they are!?!

... if they.. ya know... walked up right?!

yeah.

i've only got asher by 2.5 inches right now.

he is exactly 60 inches or... 5 feet tall.

he will pass me by and leave me in his dust, probably, by this time next week.

no. all he does is NOT sleep. its just the easiest time to photograph him, so ya know...

rough life

if only i could be out THERE!

sometimes when i'm in bed, asher will want to be in bed with me.

but then something will happen outside, a dog will bark, a squirrel will run across the deck shade... and he'll want to be outside, too.

i think he gets torn.

the bed is so comfy.. but the squirrels taste so good.

so often times when i roll over, he'll be sitting on my pillow nearest the window, just gazing out into the yard.

makes me giggle, every time.
