so a friend of mine from the club (the club = KCM) is also a young single chick who... just HAPPENS to have...
a 4 year old ridgeback!

i sent her an email of exclamation that basically said something along the lines of holy shit my vet said asher could get to be over 100 pounds! and she replied with..
yup. so is Makeda!
to be specific, Makeda is.... ONE HUNDRED TWENTY POUNDS.
ummmmmmm, hi. that actually IS my goal weight. jeebuz mary and joseph.
SO. we thought it only appropriate that... they meet!
getting pics of the two of them was damn hear impossible... these two are the only ones even remotely worth sharing... but i did get some vids.
(i got a LOT of vids. but because it records picture AND SOUND.. and i apparently talk like i belong on The Hills... i'm not sharing them all!)

you're crate training Asher -- right?
for your long rides, he'll just sleep in his crate. dogs don't have watches. so, no worries!
i used to fret about leaving my dalmation alone when i went to work. one day i stayed home with him, and all he did was go into his crate and SLEEP ALL DAY with the door open! didn't even notice i was home.

just an fyi... a hundred pound dog probably produces 10,000 pounds of poop in his lifetime.
